FLOW

“Art has given me space away from myself. Other stresses and worries went out the window. It was a change in how I was thinking.”

In August 2013, artists Mary Branson and Jono Retallick worked with people sleeping rough in wild corners of Oxford City. Following a series of workshops and sessions, Mary and Jono created a permanent installation for the Old Fire Station foyer. Using a delicate illuminated structure, the piece reflects the complex and fascinating journey that this group of individuals experience each day.

FLOW is a collaboration between Arts at the Old Fire Station, Crisis Skylight Oxford and Oxford City Outreach. It was funded by Oxford City Council. It is a permanent installation in the foyer of the Old Fire Station.
